Old Webster Jazz & Blues Festival – 9/19/15 Noon to 11 pm September 15, 2015

Old Webster Jazz & Blues Festival
Saturday, September 19, 2015

One of the most family-friendly jazz festivals on the planet, the Old Webster Jazz & Blues Festival promises non-stop jazz and blues from two stages. This event showcases St. Louis’ most talented performers plus food and drink from area restaurants. Street entertainers also amuse spectators with face-painting, juggling and balloons. Bring your kids, strollers and lawn chairs. Free! Noon to 11 p.m.

Get ready to hit the streets and tap your feets for Old Webster Jazz and Blues Festival. Webster’s biggest music event is back with a fresh collection of the area’s greatest talents in the genres of jazz, blues and much more.

This is the festival’s 15th consecutive year and will be held on September 19, 2015.

“The Old Webster Jazz and Blues Festival has grown to be one of the most respected music events in the region and our ever-evolving lineups reflect this. Some of this year’s acts have influences from rock, funk, R&B, jazz, blues, and soul. Some of the most unique and inventive bands will be hitting our stages this year,” said Terry Perkins, musical director for the festival.

The Old Webster Jazz & Blues Festival is held in the heart of downtown Webster Groves, surrounded by historic buildings and locally-owned restaurants and shops. Passing trains provide a backdrop of percussive rhythm while the buildings give an acoustic boost.

The festival books the best local jazz and blues acts and – with this year’s diverse lineup of notable acts acts that blend different styles – is expected to attract more than the 13,000 music fans they draw each year.Live music will be played throughout the day on the festival’s two performance stages.
