We are proud to announce that RATTLE AND HUM, quite simply, THE PREMIER U2 TRIBUTE Band, will be our headliner for Backstoppalooza 2015.  Look for more between now and October 3rd!

The annual Backstoppalooza fundraiser concert is back this year and will be held on Saturday, October 3 at the Chesterfield Amphitheater from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm, in conjunction with the most exciting food truck event in the region, Taste of Trucktober!  Headlining the fundraiser this year is Rattle & Hum, the premier U2 tribute band, with special guests, The Dog’s Breakfast.  Sponsored by Grey Eagle Distributing, Merrill Lynch and St. Luke’s Hospital.

Backstoppalooza is an annual concert to benefit BackStoppers St. Louis.  Backstoppers provides immediate financial aid and long-term financial support and other support to families of police officers and firefighters who lose their lives in the line of duty.

Join us after dark for a hayride around Faust Park. Then wander through candlelit historic homes where refreshments and storytellers await. Warm up with a bonfire and enjoy live music. Join us for the NFL Punt, Pass & Kick (PP&K) national skills competition for boys and girls between the ages of 6-15 on August 26 at 5:00 pm at the Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex!  Participants compete separately against their peers in punting, passing and place-kicking in a fun and engaging forum! Registrations will begin at 5:30 pm onsite, but if you plan to attend please call to sign up at 636.391.6326.
The PP&K program is FREE for participants and will take place at Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex.  The rain date is schedule for August 27.  This event will be held in cooperation with the City of Ballwin Parks & Recreation, the City of Des Peres Parks & Recreation, the City of Ellisville Parks & Recreation, and the City of Manchester Parks & Recreation.

Bring your friends and family to one of the area’s best outdoor venues and enjoy the sounds of regional and national acts performing onstage at the beautiful Chesterfield Amphitheater.  All performances in this series are free of charge and located on the amphitheater stage, featured acts begin at 7:30 p.m., and opening acts start at 6:45 p.m.  Grab a fixed seat or bring a blanket or a chair for lawn seating, any way you choose there’s not a bad seat in the house! Kinetic Body Flight debuts a vertical wind tunnel that allows you to soar in the air just like in a free fall, without having to jump with a parachute from an airplane!  Participants can lie in this wind stream and levitate, change positions while flying to go higher and turn in all directions and positions.  The “Kinetic Flying Experience” will be set up at the Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex.
Kinetic Body Flight offers a variety of packages including an all-inclusive session with flight gear, training, instructor performance and a 1.5 minute flight that is $40 Monday through Thursday; $45 Friday through Sunday.  Each additional minute of flight time is $22.  The flight time hours run Monday through Thursday from 10:00 am to 9 pm; Friday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.  Hours are subject to change.  There are group and corporate rates available.
